League Votes

vote_for_harry

Our first accepted trade (pending) this season is on the voting block, so this is the best time to go over the new trade approval process. This will be done by League Votes this year. This is the default NFL.com setting and is defined as follows. With League Votes, if more than half of the league’s owners vote against an accepted trade, it will be reversed.

From your team page (MY TEAM) you will see a notification of an ‘Accepted Trade’ in the Team Notes section above your lineup. Click [View Trade]. From here you will be able to vote against this trade only. Your vote is anonymous and is not viewable by anyone in the league, including the League Manager. If you approve of the trade between the two teams in question, you simply do nothing.

If the 2-day deadline is reached and not enough teams voted to overturn the trade, the trade will process automatically. If the trade is vetoed by a majority of team owners, the trade will be automatically rejected once majority is reached. I assume majority is 7 in our 12-team league, but I do not have visibility of that setting to be 100%.

Either way, keep an eye out for trades in your Team Notes section if you want to have an opinion in how these transactions go down.
