Here we go. This is the first time we have had a #1 seed in the final matchup. Having already secured the Regular Season Champion bonus, Christian’s Brothers stands to pull down more than half of the available winnings in the league if he comes away with the win. CB has built a great fantasy team and is the statistical favorite averaging 178.48 points per week through the playoffs. He heads in to Week 16 with a healthy lineup and favorable matchups. Air Jordy is averaging 188.90 points per week through the playoffs, but this figure is inflated by huge individual performances from the Rams Defense and RB Kareem Hunt in Week 15. Ezekiel Elliott is coming back in Week 16 to presumably give Air Jordy a boost, but will Zeke be able to shake off six weeks of rust in his first game back against the Seahawks and make a significant impact. Additionally, Air Jordy’s top WR, Davante Adams, is likely to sit out Week 16 due to another concussion after receiving a dirty head-hunting hit by Carolina Panthers LB Thomas Davis. This is a huge blow to Air Jordy, and may likely be the one that kills his chances. Hopefully, this is a competitive matchup and both teams’ players put up good showings. That’s all you can ask for in fantasy football.
The 3rd Place matchup pits Schoolya’gain and Trouble Hunter up against each other, both playing for that 5% bonus and the title of Sexiest Fantasy Football team in the league. The “White” Boys face off for 5th Place bragging rights, and a potential cash out for Welkers. And lastly, league veterans Unlockin’ Yo Schtuff and Bagel Time* play for 7th Place and some semblance of accomplishment after dropping two, favored matchups in a row in the playoffs. I’ve been there boys; I sincerely know how much it hurts.
There are still four teams, sitting at 7-8, playing to cash. They each need one win to get ~half their dues back ($24) and cut in to the overall winner’s take. Tannehill and Swallops are also playing for the Consolation Bracket win and a guaranteed 4th overall draft pick next year.
Tannehill for President

I made one tweak to the NIT Consolation Bracket we are tracking offline. I updated Week 15 to accurately reflect the #1 seed playing the winner of the 4/5 matchup, and the #2 seed playing the winner of the 3/6 matchup. I had this reversed in my last post. This is standard format for a six team playoffs. Sorry for the confusion if you were tracking yourself against another team’s results.
We set some new individual records in Week 15, including RB, which had not been eclipsed since Week 1. Only four total yards (0.40 points) separate the two performances. New individual high score, win streak, and Kicker performances were all achieved.
Single Game League Leaders (through Week 15)
QB – Alex Smith (49.30 points in Week 13) – Air Jordy
RB – Todd Gurley II (45.00 points in Week 15) – Lake Hickory Swallops

Best of luck to everyone this last week. Thanks for your patience with the new league platform on Yahoo and the offline NIT playoff tracking. We’ll continue to smooth the profile next year.
